Wymondley Road School

“TΕ« Rangatira – Stand Chiefly’”

Message from the principal

Kia ora e ngā whānau,

Welcome to Wymondley Road School!

Wymondley Road School is rich with history and cultural heritage. You are greeted with a sense of whakawhanaungatanga, aroha, and manaakitanga by the friendly staff and students.Β

Wymondley Road School is a small, suburban school situated in the vibrant community of Otara, South Auckland. Over 80% of our students have Pasifika heritage, and many are bilingual, learning English as an additional language. Māori learners consistently make up 17% of our school roll.

At Wymondley Road School is a space where students, teachers, and whānau can learn from each other. We embrace technology to enhance our learning, and our local curriculum allows our students to express their diverse cultural knowledge and heritage. Our tamariki (children) are nurtured and encouraged to stand tall, strong in character, striving for excellence, and learning and leading with courage.

We invite you to come and experience the warmth and energy of our community. We look forward to welcoming you to Wymondley Road School.

TΕͺ RANGATIRA
